Construction Layout (or Staking) is a service typically used by contractors, developers and engineers in order to translate construction site plans into real world locations. Surveyors utilize a CAD file and/or existing site plans in order to stake the location of proposed improvements, including proposed location (northing and easting), and proposed elevation (cuts and fills).
